Larry Eugene Cole (1947 – 2016)
Peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home in Tillsonburg on Saturday, August 6, 2016, Larry Eugene Cole passed away at the age of 68 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary Lou for 47 years. Proud and caring father of Greg Cole (Morganna) of Eden and Jacqueline Fil (Bryan) of Oshawa. Cherished grandfather of Dalton, Riley and Ethan. Dear brother of Kathy Gillatly (Jim) of Ancaster, Nancy Morrice (Jim) of Tillsonburg, Vickie Cole (Dan) of Tillsonburg, Wayne Cole (Janet) of Tillsonburg, Robert Cole of Delhi and Kevin Cole (Joyce) of Tillsonburg. Larry is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Norma (Shearer) Cole. Larry was a handyman that could fix anything. He had a passion for animals. He enjoyed feeding the wildlife in his backyard. But what he loved more than anything was his family. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service for Larry will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Dawson officiating. Interment to follow in the Delmer Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cancer Research Society, Diabetes Association or Oxford Animal Aid would be appreciated by the family.
