Obituary for Nathan Carl Barrett

Nathan Carl Barrett
NATHAN CARL BARRETT
(1991–2017)

Mark and Barbara (Mann) Barrett, of Tillsonburg are saddened to announce the passing of their beloved son Nathan Carl Barrett. Nathan went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the age of 26 years. Nathan was born on May 30, 1991 in Moncton, New Brunswick and lived every second to the fullest. Cherished brother of Ryan Barrett (Zulima) and Evan Barrett (Melissa) both of Edmonton. Proud uncle to his 4 nephews Silas, Colby, Travis and Lincoln. Dear grandson of Gerold Barrett of Redmond, Oregon and Carl and Emma Mann of Riverview, New Brunswick. Loving and caring fiancé and best friend of Sarah Ueberschaer of Ingersoll. Nathan is also survived by Sarah’s parents Gary and Karen Ueberschaer of Ingersoll and Sarah’s sister Rachel Campbell (Mark) of Sudbury. Nephew of Gary Barrett (Ellen), Bruce Barrett (Becky) both of Oregon, Cindy McTavish (Sandy) and Trudy Mann both of Riverview, New Brunswick. Nathan will also be missed by his cousins and many friends. Nathan was a graduate of Word Of Life Bible Institute. He was employed with Dale Kitchen and Bath in Woodstock. He was an avid hiker, camper, outdoorsman, woodworker and enjoyed bare foot running. Since the age of 14 he served in youth camps in New Brunswick and Ontario and in his own church group. As the Bible says “(Jesus) came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” And that was how Nathan lived. He was very passionate about his work with the youth. Nathan truly loved his God and had aspirations of being a Missionary. Friends and relatives are invited to share memories of Nathan at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Nathan will be held at North Broadway Baptist Church, Tillsonburg on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gavin Michaels officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Nathan Barrett Legacy Service Bursary in care of Word of Life Bible Institute would be appreciated by the Barrett family.
